T-Shirt Competition
Every chapter makes a T-Shirt which is voted on at the International Collegiate Conference by other students. The shirt is picked based on how well it defines the theme, of that year's conference. For 2012-2013 the theme was, "Live the Marketing Lifestyle".
Website Competition
Every chapter is supposed to create and maintain a website. A panel of judges votes every year to determine who has the best website according to a set of criteria that include appearance, functionality, and content.
The AMA Collegiate Chapters Council and Collegiate Chapters Division offers active AMA chapters and members numerous opportunities to be recognized for their excellence and assist in the growth of their professional development. Awards and competitions, offered over the course of the academic year, are available in a variety of topics. Submissions are due by 5pm Central Time on the Deadline Date, unless noted otherwise.
General Information
Outstanding Marketing Week
On the first week of October, AMA chapters are supposed to have a Marketing Week, in which to raise awareness and promote the organization's goals
Chapter Exhibits
A chapter who enters in the booth has the opportunity to express their creativity and to demonstrate the theme of that year's conference.
Northwestern Mutual Sales Competition
A Competition for sales students that gives students the chance to compete one on one to see who can best complete a sale.
SABRE Competition
Sabre is a business simulation in which teams compete with other teams in a competition to develop and market the best product based on net contribution.
Student Marketer of the Year
An individual award for students in AMA that all ECAMA students are encouraged to apply for.
Chapter Plan and Annual Reports
A chapter plan that is well thought out and followed through on is eligible to win an award.
AMA EBSCO Scholarship Award
An award for exceptional marketing students that will take the form of a scholarship up to $5000.
